Welcome Mary Jo Schwie Loughran and her Bright Spot certified Pet Therapy dog, Coda, to our Hospice team.
Mary Jo works at the University of Connecticut as a staff Sign Language Interpreter and we are delighted to have her and her dog Coda with us! Mary Jo is also available to provide her volunteer services as a sign language interpreter. It is proven to help patients emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually. Enhancing physical relaxation and reducing anxiety. We are looking forward to offering our patients, families and staff a little moment of fun, pleasure and peace.
