Our rehabilitation professionals provide assessment and skilled therapy services to maximize our client's physical functioning and quality of life. Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapists work closely with families and caregivers to provide education for assistance with the Home Exercise Program, equipment needs and carryover of therapy training. The therapists work as a part of the interdisciplinary team whose goals are to have the best outcomes for our clients, efficient delivery of services and to meet or exceed the home health industry's standards. Physical Therapy
Physical Therapists evaluate and treat orthopedic, neurological and general deconditioning due to medical, surgical, cardiac and respiratory conditions. The Physical Therapist utilizes therapeutic exercise to maximize strength, balance, transfers and walking ability. Modalities such as heat, cold, ultrasound and electrical stimulation are used for pain management. Physical Therapy is an integral part of our specialized Total Joint Replacement Program.
Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapists provide assessment and development of a plan of care for improvement of perceptual motor skills and upper body strengthening to increase abilities for Activities of Daily Living. These activities include dressing, bathing, transferring, eating, cooking and housekeeping. The Occupational Therapist makes recommendations for appropriate adaptive equipment and provides training and teaching for safety, self pacing and energy conservation.
